Yophoto Photobooks take front stage with Disney’s High School Musical
Stage Entertainment was founded in 1998 by Joop van den Ende and has become an important player in the international live entertainment industry.
The company works with international partners to produce and tour the worlds’ biggest musical theatre titles including most recently the Disney Theatrical Production of High School musical.
Jessica Chu of Stage Entertainment had the idea to make a Yophoto photobook of High School Musical shots after she used Yophoto for personal projects over Christmas and was impressed with the high quality of the finished product.
Jessica comments: "Every show production has shots taken throughout the rehearsal process. Actors and other company members always ask if they can get copies of some of the photos and it’s normally a lengthy and costly process for them to get the photos. The Yophoto photobooks are a lovely record of the rehearsal process and something the cast can keep. It is also a unique gift that only we as the production company can give and only they as a cast and crew member can have."
The High School Musical Yophoto photobooks were produced in A4 black leather with a special gold foil blocked cover. To give all 150 guests a tailored gift, the inside front cover of each book was also personalised with the receiver’s name. These were given to the Disney executives and guests who attended the opening night in London on 19th February 2008.
